The trip was wonderful to me as the last time that I went to Indonesia was about 11 years ago! This is my first time visiting Yogyakarta.

There are 5 people from my company including myself. The most tempting things to do over there is Shopping and Spa..(luckily hubby is not accompanying me, i bet my hubby would be bored with these activities ) . Yes you must not miss SPA because it's very very cheap! There are many beauty centers over there and many packages was offered. I took Package M - body massage with mandi lulur for 2 hrs and its only cost me RP90,000 ( about RM30).

Visiting Borobudur temple was not very exiting. I consider it as only for sightseeing + foot exercising

It took us half day ++ to reach Malaysia as our flight has been delayed for 2 times! huhu..thanks for the delay because I can take a cab and rushed to the town to get my Silk Batik waaa..syok bangatt

Huhu do you notice that I'm gaining weight?? i think I need to have massive slimming program so that the kebaya from Jogja Silk can suite my body

3 resipi biskut raya

 
 
 
Assalamualaikum..

Tiada idea nak buat biksut raya apa tahun ni? Saya kongsikan 3 resipi biskut raya yang saya buat tahun lepas.

1) Almond London

Ingredients:
220gm butter
30gm shortening (note:original Yen's recipe used all 250gm butter)
130gm icing sugar
2 egg yolks
1tsp vanilla essence
450gm cookies flour, sifted (note:original Yen's recipe used plain flour)
Toasted whole almond
Toasted diced almond and melted choc for deco.

Steps:
1. Beat butter + shortening until fluffy
2. Add in egg yolks and vanilla essence
3. Add flour & mix slowly until well mixed & soft dough is formed
4. Take a spoonful of batter and cover 1 almond, shape into oval.
5. Bake for 15-20 min , 170 deg.
6. Melt chocolate & cover the biscuit. Place into paper cup & topped with diced almond.
7. Let it cool & set before packing.

Coating tips:
1) Put all baked biscuit into the bowl filled with melted chocolate. By using spoon/pengepit take out the biscuit and place in paper cup.
2) Topped with diced almond right after you have placed the biscuit into paper cup. The diced almond won't stick onto the choc if it has set & cool.

2) Cornflakes Crunchy

Bahan (A)
180gm castor sugar
130 gm butter
60gm marjerin
60 gm shortening
1/2 tsp esen vanila
secubit garam
Bahan (B) - 2 biji telur
Bahan (C)
300 gm self raising flour
1/4tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp soda bicarbonate
Bahan (D)- Cornflakes secukupnya-anggaran 250gm

Cara-cara:
1. Putar bahan (A) hingga kembang
2. Masukkan telur
3. Ayak bahan (C) & masukkan adunan kedalam adunan (A). Kalau sebati dengan spatula.
4. Rehatkan adunan didalam peti sejuk semalaman untuk menghasilkan biskut yg rangup.
5. Keluarkan dari peti sejuk dan bentukkan bulat, sadurkan dengan cornflakes dan letak di atas loyang.
6. Bakar selama 15-20 min pada suhu 175,

Adunan memang agak lembut, jgn tambah lagi tepung. Adunan ni bleh dpt anggaran 120 keping. Tak perlu buat besar sebab dia akan mengembang, kita kan guna self rising flour.

Tips mudah:
1) Lapik loyang bakar dengan kertas minyak dahulu sebelum letak adunan biskut. Dgn ini tidak perlu sapu marjerin setiap kali nak letak biskut.
2) Guna telur Gred B dalam semua resipi biskut/kek.
3) Marjerin & shortening boleh diganti dengan butter kesemuanya.

3) Cornflakes Rocher

250gm chocolate
80gm cornflakes
40gm roasted nut - nibbed almond/cashewnut
Some melted white choc for deco

Steps:
1. Melt the choc-double boiler
2. Add nuts and cornflakes & mix well
3. Place a spoonful of mixture in a paper cup.
4. Pipe some melted white choc as deco
5. Let it set

Tip: You may adjust the amount of choc & cornflakes if the melted choc is too thick or too liquid.

Walaupun duduk di KL, kami memang jarang berkunjung ke tempat-tempat percutian kat KL ni. Entah macamana suami melontarkan idea untuk berkunjung ke Aquaria KLCC Jumaat lepas. Jadi, semalam kami sekeluarga ke sana selepas kami menghantar 1 wedding cake for my officemate, Jaja di Kg Baru. Dengan menggunakan J Card, harga tiket kami semua ialah RM71. Adalah sedikit diskaun.

Mus'ab memang suka sangat tengok binatang-binatang dalam Aquaria. Tak kesah saiznya, ganas atau tidak. Berbeza dengan Mawaddah yang memang takut dengan semua ikan-ikan besar. Dia menangis sambil berkata " tak nak tak nak, takutt". Saya pon lebih kurang jugak, takut gile masa lalu kat kawasan binatang like lizard & frog. Geli beb!!

Kami dok dalam Aquaria lebih kurang 1 jam. Lepas tu ingatkan nak singgah Kinokuniya beli buku. Tapi anak-anak nak jalan gi Taman KLCC pulak. So, kami jalan kat taman so kids dapat main kat playground. Bila lalu pool KLCC, bebudak mula bising le nak mandi pool. Dah le kami tak bawak baju spare. So dengan selambanya kami benarkan mereka mandi dengan memakai underwear jek. Masa nak balik pulak hanya adik tiada seluar. So, saya pakaikan baju + pampers aja. Dengan selambanya pon kami jalan balik ke arah kereta yang kami letak kat kawasan pejabat suami, LGM berhadapan KLCC). Tak kesah le orang tengok Mawaddah tiada seluar kejap, yang penting kami enjoy semalam!! Kami sampai rumah jam 5.15pm. Kids tidur terus sebab kepenatan. Lepas solat Asar, saya pon lelap sekali sampai maghrib. Enjoy the pics

Nota: Gambo memang sedikit sebab memory card 128MB kami hilang semalam but today dah jumpa. Semalam digicam kami guna MC 16MB jek!

Alhamdulillah, my debt-free rennovation is over. We've moved to our house on last Saturday.

Disebalik keseronokan anda melihat projek ubahsuai rumah saya ini, ingin saya kongsikan apakah lagi yang saya 'mahu' tapi tak buat disebabkan dorongan Adam Khoo. Sebelum membeli 2 persoalan perlu ditanya, 1) Adakah barang tersebut kemahuan atau keperluan? 2) Jika barang tersebut tidak dibeli, adakah ia menjejaskan hidup?. Disebabkan Jawapan saya :1) Kemahuan dan 2) Tidak menjejaskan hidup, jadi saya let go that items:
1) Ubahsuai tandas bawah. Jangan terkejut masih berwajah lama walaupun dikelilingi kengkawan baru (dapur + bilik)
2) Jubin bercorak / berbunga antara jubin dinding. Anda perasan kan jubin dapur saya semua satu warna?
3) Dapur plaster siling. Tanpanya, saya masih boleh membuat kek!
4) Awning baru (pergola / skylight) untuk bahagian car porch. Masih dengan awning asal masa kami beli rumah ni last 3 years (sekarang ni memang dah tak jumpa le), dengannya kain kami jemur di waktu siang masih tak kene hujan. Alhamdulillah.
5) Hard tiles untuk car porch. Tanpanya, kami masih hidup bahagia dan boleh parking 2 kereta.

Mungkin ada yang berpendapat, alang-alang renovate, buat je semua. Opps..kami tak mungkin. Bayangkan jika kita kehilangan kerja, adakah duit simpanan sekarang cukup untuk 6 bulan? Bagaimana jika berlaku hal kecemasan lain yang memerlukan wang banyak? Jika semua duit simpanan digunakan, soalan tersebut pasti sukar dijawab.

Sebagai penutup, sama-sama kita renungkan:
